FDLE: man arrested for cyber-crime involving minor

Posted: Updated:
SUMTER COUNTY -

An Orlando man is in custody for solicitation of a parent and human trafficking among other charges, Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents told us.

An investigation started in Biscayne Park a year ago, according to the FDLE report. It led to arrest of Donald W. Purviance, 46, after he tried to solicit an undercover agent who was posing online as a parent of a 14-year-old boy. Purviance offered $750 to have sex with both, agents said.

FLDE agents of the Cyber and High-Tech Crimes squad in Miami Regional Operations Center arrested him Monday morning in Orlando. They say Purviance may have  victims.

FDLE agents urge everybody with information about the crimes of Donald W. Purviance, to call Special Agent Michelle Bufalino at 786-336-1000 or a local law enforcement agency.
