Migrating sharks spotted near Deerfield Beach in Broward County

BROWARD COUNTY, FL -

A few South Florida beaches had to close recently due to a large number of sharks observed less than 200 yards from the shore.

Deerfield Beach in Broward County was closed yesterday because of blacktip and spinner sharks swimming too close to the beach.

Marine biologists say the sharks are migrating north now that winter is almost over.
