TAMPA, FL -

Another winter storm focuses its attention on the northeast.  Weather reports predict that rain in the Ohio Valley and the Mid-Atlantic States will gradually turn to snow eventually impacting the lower Hudson Valley.

Snow will spread into southern New England late Wednesday afternoon and into the evening. Those traveling along the I-95 corridor toward Washington D.C. should use caution as snow is expected to fall into the evening.

In addition, forecasters are predicting high winds that when combined with heavy snow could cause power outages in the Mid-Atlantic states.  Power outages are also possible Wednesday as winds pick up in eastern Long Island and coastal southeast New England.

Commuters in Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. could also be impacted today. Those in the Philadelphia and New York City areas may be affected by the weather in the afternoon to evening hours.

Those traveling by plane to Washington Dulles and Reagan National, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, Baltimore-Washington, Philadelphia, the New York airports, and Boston should call their airline for flight updates.
