Space-X Dragon makes it to the ISS despite unexpected problems

Posted: Updated:

NASA reports the Space-x Dragon capsule has docked at the international space station carrying much welcomed supplies for the astronauts.  Station astronauts used a 57.7-foot robot arm, Canadarm2, to grab the supply ship.  NASA said Commander Kevin Ford, with assistance from Flight Engineer Tom Marshburn, grappled the SpaceX Dragon cargo craft at 5:31 a.m. EST as it flew within about 32 feet of the complex.  Space-x struggled with the dragon following Friday's launch.  A technical problem prevented the Dragon's thrusters from working, and it took flight controllers several hours to gain control.  The Dragon arrived just a day late with its ton of supplies.
