Jeremy Bush: losing hope

Posted: Updated:
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

As crews continue to work at the scene of the sinkhole in Seffner Saturday, Jeremy Bush, the brother of the man buried in it, says he is losing hope.

"I don't think they gonna be able to find him," he said with tears.

He said he knew that the hole was getting bigger. He thanked everybody for the efforts and said he was grateful that the rest of his family and his 2-year-old daughter are safe.

He told CNN's Anderson Cooper Friday night that he was working two jobs trying to support his family. He added that he now had nothing.

Jeremy Bush tried to jump into the sinkhole as it was opening up Thursday evening to dig his brother out but couldn't. A deputy rescued him pulling him out of the sinkhole.

"The ground was still falling," Jeremy Bush said.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue set up a Website you can click on to donate to the affected families of the sinkhole in Seffner, Fl go to www.firefighter-relief.com
