Lawrie, Nanita homer as Blue Jays beat Rays 5-4

DUNEDIN, FL -

Brett Lawrie and Ricardo Nanita homered in the second inning off Jake Odorizzi, helping the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Tampa Bay Rays 5-4 Friday.
    
Making his second start of spring training, Mark Buehrle allowed one run and three hits in two innings, struck out two and walked two.
    
Desmond Jennings reached base in each of his three plate appearances for Tampa Bay, walking twice against Buehrle. He added a single, two stolen bases and two runs.
    
Shelley Duncan's solo homer in the fifth tied the score at 3.
    
Loser Mike Montgomery allowed three hits and a walk in the sixth, giving up RBI singles to Andy LaRoche and Adam Loewen. Dave Bush pitched one scoreless inning for his second spring training victory.
