HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -

Traffic will be controlled by law enforcement officers and paced slowly (around 15 MPH) on northbound I-75 from north of Interstate 4 (Exit 261) to just south of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (Exit 270) Thursday night (February 28) into Friday morning (March 1).  Authorities say there will be at least two slower paces, both actually occurring early Friday (March 1) between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

Also, no traffic will be allowed to enter northbound I-75 at the Fowler Avenue and Fletcher Avenue interchanges until the front of the traffic pacing has passed the entrance ramps.  Delays of around 20-30 minutes can be expected on northbound I-75 and on the ramp from westbound I-4 to I-75 (Exit 9), as well as on the crossroads near the ramps at the interchanges in these areas.

Officials say the pacing operations are needed for the installation of a sign structure over all of the northbound lanes, south of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
