Deputies: Two brothers involved in Sarasota shooting arrested

SARASOTA, FL -

Sarasota County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested both brothers involved in a shooting near 25th Street and Euclid Avenue in Sarasota Friday night.

Ryan Ward,19, and his brother Trae, 21, shot Henry Salem multiple times when Salme tried to interfere in a fight between a man and a woman, deputies said.

Salem was not hurt. Deputies arrested Ryan Ward on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. This is his fourth charge of this kind, deputies told us.

Trae Ward was arrested Tuesday monring at a home in Bradenton. The Fugitive Apprehension unit and the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. Trae has four prior feloney arrests on similar charges, detectives said.
