All lanes were shut down at Recker Highway and 21st Street SW in Winter Haven due to a head-on collision Tuesday morning.

Winter Haven Police are investigating the serious crash which involved young children, they told us.

A GMC Cargo Van crossed the center lane on Recker Highway and hit a Chevy Suburban with two small children on board, according to the police report.
