Largo Police officers chased a woman around town Friday morning after she tried to flee on a stolen vehicle and bite and run over a detective, according to the police report.
Jamie Ramseur, 28, pulled over to a convenience store in Largo around midnight. When she and a man who was with her were walking to the store, a Largo Police officer who was patrolling the area, ran the tag on their car and discovered that it had been stolen.
When the officer contacted the two, Ramseur got back in the car and tried to start it. The officer reached in to grab the keys and she bit his arm, according to the police report.
The chase ended in jail for Ramseur. One of the charges is an attempted felony murder of a law enforcement officer.
Police are on the lookout for the man who was with her. They have not identified him.
