Jason joined News Channel 8 in August 2012 as a sports reporter and anchor. The warm winters of Tampa helped lure him away from his hometown of Raleigh, N.C., where he worked for six years at WRAL-TV.
Name a sport, and Jason has probably covered it, but his most memorable assignments include three Final Fours and seeing the Carolina Hurricanes win the 2006 Stanley Cup (He even drank from the Cup that night, too!).

Jason graduated from the University of Missouri and lives in Tampa with his wife, Martha. Other than watching sports, he likes to travel, listen to music and drink a nice glass of wine.
