TripAdvisor: Florida beaches among the best in the world

SARASOTA, FL -

TripAdvisor listed a few Florida beaches among the best Wednesday, as it announced its 2013 Travelers' Choice Beaches Award winners.

Siesta Key Public Beach in Sarasota holds second place followed by Gulf Islands National Seashore in Pensacola and Fort De Soto Park in Tierra Verde. Ka'anapali Beach in Lahaina, Hawaii, took first place this year.

TripAdvisor is a travel Website that announces a list of the best beaches in the world every year. The reviews are based on travelers' opinions, according to the Website.
