Thornhill Road has been reopened for traffic in Winter Haven.
It has been closed earlier Wednesday morning from Winter Lake Road to Spirit Lake Road due to the combination of fog and smoke from Monday's fires that reduced visibility to zero, according to Florida Forest Service report.
Deputies advise drivers to use extra caution while driving anywhere in Polk County today.
