Molotov cocktails apparently tossed at Hillsborough apartment manager's office

Posted: Updated:
TAMPA, FL -

Hillsborough Firefighters answered a fire call Monday morning, and say they found two bottles that appeared to be filled with gasoline, at an apartment complex.

The bottles appear to have been tossed at the manager's office, at the apartment complex at 12771 St James Place Drive. One was inside, the other was outside the office. One window was broken. No one was injured.

"No one was inside the building at the time," says Nacole Revette, public information officer for Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. "The regional manager was coming to work when he found the bottles, one inside and one outside."

It is unclear exactly what was in the bottles, but the area smelled of gasoline, according to authorities.

A hazmat team cleared the building of any danger. Residents were not required to evacuate.
