Robber holds up two Chase banks in Tampa

Posted: Updated:

Tampa Police hope some surveillance video will help catch a bank robber, who has hit twice: once in December, and again this month.

On both occasions, the man robbed Chase banks. The first heist came on December 5, 2012, at the branch at 4601 West Kennedy Boulevard. The second robbery took place February 7, at 2001 North Dale Mabry Highway. In both cases, he lifted his shirt, revealing a handgun tucked in his waistband.

During both robberies, the man wore a cap.

If you recognize the robber in the video, you should call Tampa Police.

With a toss of a football, Charlie Crist boarded the bus in Orlando. “On to victory,” Crist announced, as he headed to his seat. It's a campaign tour that might have seemed improbable just a few years ago. But the former governor is on the campaign trail again, trying to win over voters to win back his old job in Tallahassee.
