POLK COUNTY, FL -

The Plant City Police and the Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for William David Mounts, 32.

Police identified him as the man who had robbed the James L. Redman Parkway Branch of the GTE Federal Credit Union Tuesday. The robbery was caught on the credit union's surveillance camera.

Detectives said he has a violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous. Mounts was last arrested in August 2012 for possession of firearms by convicted felon.

The detectives believe Mounts is still in the area. The police encourage anybody with any information about Mounts to call Sergeant James Cross of the Plant City Police Department's Major Crimes Unit at (813) 757-9200.
