The office of the governor issued an executive order Thursday excusing State Attorney Mark Ober for the 13th Judicial Circuit Of Florida from prosecuting Charles Philipp Campbell Jr. for driving under the influence.
State Attorney Ober cited a possible conflict of interests since he had been involved in the defamation case of Todd Schnitt against Bubba the Love Sponge Clem.
Campbell was Schnitt's attorney in the defamation case.
State Attorney Bernie McCabe for the Sixth Judicial Circuit will take over the DUI case.
