Posted: Updated:
POLK COUNTY, FL -

The Lakes Wales Police officers are looking for a man who, they think, beat up a Lake Wales resident last Sunday.

Rhyan Morrison, 20, had an argument with the man and hit him over the head with an unknown object, the police officers discovered during an investigation.

The victim is at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center, recovering from the severe and permanent injury, according to the police report. The officers have an arrest warrant for aggravated battery for Morrison.

The detectives are asking anybody with any information about Morrison to Detective Ive Rodriguez at Lake Wales Police Department (863)678-4223 extension 271 or Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477).

The callers may be eligible for a cash reward and do not have to reveal their names, the detectives told us.
