Lady Gaga had to cancel the remainder of her "Born This Way Ball" tour, Live Nation Global Touring confirmed Wednesday. This includes her scheduled March 13 performance in Tampa.
The company representative told us, Gaga's health was at stake.
She has a labral tear in her hip that will require surgery. According to the Mayo Clinic Website, it is a tear of soft elastic tissue around the hip joint. It often happens to athletes and ballet dancers.
Lady Gaga will need strict down time to recover after the surgery, the Live Nation Global touring representatives said.
The tickets can be returned for a full refund staring Thursday.
