CLEARWATER, FL -

Captured on camera and posted to Facebook. A student at Calvin Hunsinger School in Clearwater took a video instead of breaking up a fight near the bus drop-off circle.

Victim, 9th grader Vanessa Chauvin says it started when a middle school student, who was supposed to be serving " in school suspension" tapped her on the shoulder and told Vanessa, she didn't like her.

"She just took the first punch and hit me and she started punching me and punching me and then she took my hair and she pulled it down and she kneed me in the face like 4 times maybe 5," said Vanessa. The results of the knock down, drag out are bruises all over, including her temple, going unconscious, and a trip by ambulance to a hospital.

Vanessa's mom says Calvin Hunsinger, a school for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, is supposed to have extra supervision.

"She's supposed to have an education. She's supposed to learn. She has four years of college paid for. This is not what I intended for my baby" said Lori Chauvin.

A school district spokesman says appropriate discipline will be taken against those responsible. They're trying to figure out how this all went down. They're also aware that the family is upset about this and they're trying to address those concerns.

Vanessa's father is very upset.  "This is not human behavior. This is animals. Animals do this. Human beings don't do this" said David Chauvin.

Vanessa wants her attacker held responsible. "I want her to be arrested and in custody for a long time," said Vanessa Chauvin

Vanessa's parents promise to follow through to see this unprovoked attack doesn't go unpunished.
