Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for a man who, they say, participated in a shoot-out in January 2012. They have a warrant to arrest Charles Jones, 30, for felony murder and armed robbery.
Investigators say Jones, together with Jared Lee and James Brady, tried to rob Joshua Pinkham and Roy Potter at gunpoint at Pinkham and Porter's house over a year ago, according to the police report.
Pinkham shot back and killed Brady, the other two ran away, the investigation revealed.
The deputies arrested Jared Lee a few days after the shooting, Jones is still on the run.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies are asking anyone with the information on Charles Jones to call the MSO at 941-747-3011, extension 2159 or Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
