Hillsborough firefighters respond to Riverview house fire

Posted: Updated:

Tuesday afternoon, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units were on scene of a structure fire at 12914 Darla Dr in Riverview. First responders did not find any occupants in the dwelling. However, dogs in the home were released into the yard and Animal Control is en route.

Authorities say this is a manufactured home with heavy fire in the attic space. During primary search there was a partial roof collapse that injured one Hillsborough County Firefighter. The Firefighter is in good condition and has been sent to the Hospital for evaluation.
