The students with a high attendance rate at Alexander Elementary school in Tampa watched as their principal got a hair cut Monday.
This was a part of the Attendance Challenge at Alexander Elementary. The student who cut the hair was the perfect attendance raffle winner.
Principal Kristina Alvarez donated 10 inches of her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths is a partnership between Pantene and the American Cancer Society. The partnership provides free real hair wigs to women with cancer.
Two of the school students also donated eight inches of their hair to the partnership.
This is the second attendance challenge in the last five years Principal Alvarez organized to benefit Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
