LAKELAND, FL (WFLA) -

Lakeland's Agape Food Bank is ready to raise big money to help feed thousands of hungry Polk County Residents.  Tonight the non-profit is set to hold its Empty Bowls Dinner and Auction.

Agape Food Bank provides food for more than 100,000 individuals and families in Polk County each year.

Tonight's fundraiser will include a silent and live auction for bowls painted and autographed by local and national celebrities.

Michael Gordon, head of business development for Agape, says the organization has been working for months to get some pretty heavy hitters to paint and sign bowls.

"Everyone from Paula Deen who jumped in and immediately said that she would help, Albert Pujols from the Los Angeles Angles, Aly Raisman who won a gold medal and was the captain of the women's Olympics gymnastic team in London," Gordon said.

The Agape Food Bank will mark its 30th year in the community next year.
