Two-time Top Chef competitor Fabio Viviani is bringing his cooking chops to the Bay area to benefit the Museum of Science and Industry.
Viviani will hobnob with foodies and wine aficionados at MOSI's Einstein on Food & Wine event Saturday night.
"If my presence can somehow enhance the success of the festival I'm happy to be here," Viviani said.
The 35-year-old celebrity chef promises "rivers of wine" to flow at the 18th annual fundraiser, and event producer Jason Champion says all the fun benefits a worthy cause.
"All of the money that goes from this event goes directly to our summer education and science programs for our kids," Champion said.
Over 18 years of Einstein on Food & Wine events MOSI has raised more than $2 million for science camps according to Champion.
Chef Viviani says he'll bring a little something extra to this year's event.
"There is a general admission and there is a general admission plus kissing and hugging which is the VIP room," Viviani said.
In addition to Chef Viviani, Einstein on Food & Wine will also include 100 different wine and spirits as well as 25 different food vendors.
