LARGO, FL -
A knife was the weapon of choice in a bank robbery in Largo Wednesday.
Largo Police arrested Ronald J. Massey, 32, for the armed robbery of the Fifth/Third Bank on Ulmerton Road.
Largo Police Department detectives say he threatened a cashier at the bank and demanded cash, then ran from the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
He is now facing charges for this robbery, as well as one at a BB&T bank in Largo. The police made the arrest a few hours after the crime took place.
