Polk County Deputies have captured the man they blame for the disappearance of dozens of manhole covers.
Deputies located and arrested Christopher Fink Thursday night in Haines City. His arrest affidavit says he removed 166 manhole covers from the Village 7 area of Poinciana, leaving dangerous, open holes behind. Then, investigators say, he sold the manhole covers for $1,646. Their actual value is more than $21,000.
Fink will make his first appearance in court on Saturday morning.
