PALMETTO, FL -
A 26-year old man was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Eric Boykin was arrested around 1 p.m. at his Palmetto residence. Investigators say the arrest followed an investigation and search of Boykin's home that included the seizing of multiple computer devices.
At least 8 videos of child pornography were found on the seized computers, authorities said. The videos depicted sexual activity involving children as young as 4 years old," the release stated.
Boykin currently faces 8 counts of possession of child pornography. It was not immediately clear when he would make his first court appearance.
