South Armenia closed starting at 8 a.m. on ThursdayTAMPA, FL -
Commuters in South Tampa who use the south end of Armenia Avenue will need to find an alternate route.
Starting tomorrow morning at 8 a.m., South Armenia Avenue will be closed in both directions between DeLeon Street and Swann Avenue.
The closure is necessary to allow the Tampa Water Department to install water lines.
Detour signs will be placed in the area but drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes.
