Gasparilla floats waiting at the warehouse until parade day!Little Pirates will flood Bayshore Boulevard Saturday for the Children's Gasparilla Parade. Organizers say they're expecting a huge crowd because the forecast is looking good.
"When you have a day like we're predicting on Saturday 73 degrees and partly cloudy we're expecting people to come out of the woodwork," Executive Director for Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, said.
He's excited about passing out some new swag to the kids.
"My favorite this year is the light up eye patch," Barnes said. "People are really going to like that."
