Pam Saulsby is an Emmy-award winning journalist, keynote speaker, recording artist, with hands-on community involvement.

She has enjoyed a distinguished 32-year career as a television journalist, and for 20 years was one of Raleigh's most well-known and trusted local news anchors.

Pam's career began in 1980 in West Palm Beach, Florida at WPTV-TV. She worked as a general assignment reporter. In 1981, she moved to Miami where she spent 10 years as a reporter and news anchor.

In 1991, Pam's career led her to Raleigh, North Carolina, where she joined the news team at WRAL-TV.

Pam is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 1980, she earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. She chose Political Science as her minor.

Throughout her career, Pam has received numerous honors and awards including one National Emmy Award, and two regional Emmy awards.

In 1986 Pam was named a Distinguished Woman of North Carolina.

In 2010 and 2011, Pam was named best local news anchor by Metro Magazine.

In 2010, Pam was the Honorary Chairwoman of the Komen Race for the Cure in Raleigh. She has received numerous honors for her participation in the fight against breast cancer. Pam was recognized for using her own video camera to document the journey of two local women fighting cancer.

She serves on the advisory board of Family Health Ministries.. A non-government organization providing health care to the people of Haiti. Pam was invited to join FHM after her coverage of the earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010.

Pam also volunteers at the Durham VA Medical Center—singing to sick and wounded veterans.
