The Tampa Bay Lightning has set its training camp dates.
Pending the players ratify the new NHL collective bargaining agreement, the team will start camp at the Tampa Bay Times Forum this Sunday at a time to be announced later. Another practice is scheduled for the following Monday.
The Lightning will then practice at Germain Arena in Estero the next three days, Jan. 15-17. All workouts in Estero will be open to the public.
The team will return for a practice at The Forum on Friday, Jan. 18.
If the CBA is ratified, games will begin on Jan. 19. The Lightning has not announced the location or the opponent for its season opener. A home game against the Washington Capitals was originally scheduled for that date.
