Department of transportation officials say part of the Selmon (Crosstown) Expressway will be closed for a few hours tonight.
Starting at 10 p.m., road crews will shut down the westbound lanes, between exits 8 and 7. The closure will last until 2 a.m. Friday morning.
Traffic will be detoured off the road at exit 8, onto Kennedy Boulevard, then south to Morgan Street.
Road officials are also closing I-75's southbound exit at State Road 56 overnight on Friday night, into Saturday morning. The ramp at exit 275 will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. Traffic should exit on exit 279, then take County Road 54 to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to State Road 56.
