Investigators take soil samples at a home on West Vasconia Street in Tampa, in 2007
Prince has been missing since January 2006
There's a major development in the investigation, into the disappearance of Sandra Prince, but we won't know exactly what has happened until tomorrow.
Temple Terrace Police Chief Kenneth Albano plans to make a major announcement about the case on Thursday morning. Members of the FBI and FDLE may also be in attendance.
It's been a little more than seven years since Prince disappeared. The social worker was 59 years old, when she was last seen in January, 2006. Investigators found blood in the trunk of her car, and on her cell-phone, which was inside her home.
Surveillance video, released soon afterward, showed a masked man trying to access Prince's bank accounts. The following year, detectives took soil samples at a house on West Vasconia Street in Tampa. The home was built by Prince's boyfriend, Earl Pippen, around the time she vanished.
