Plenty of moisture remains in the atmosphere today. "When the sea breeze pushes inland from the Gulf of Mexico, scattered storms will develop," said Storm Team 8 Meteorologist Leigh Spann. Most of the storms will be inland from the coast this afternoon. "Our rain chance is 40%, and there is a possibility of a few strong storms," said Spann. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
The rain ends tonight with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. "The rain chance goes down to 30% tomorrow and 20% for Thursday," said Spann.
