For some people, the sight of three clowns roaming the halls at Tampa General Hospital can be downright frightening.
But for Sharne Kappes, It's a welcome change.
"Well I think It's really cool that they came out to see the kids."
Kappes' two year old daughter Aryica hasn't been feeling so good lately.
"She has a blood disorder so they don't want her out of the bed."
So the circus came to Aryica.
"She has been on bed rest so that means I have been confined to the room too. So it gave us both time to get out and actually get some entertainment."
Down the hall, Cheryl Salyer and her 13 year old son Shane get ready for the show.
"We've had guest here in the past... But this is awesome."
Shane Salyer has Lymphoma. He's been in the hospital for about a week, but he took a break from his cancer treatment to watch the show.
"He was pretty wiped out from his treatment," Shane's mom said. "He has been sleeping since five yesterday evening. This is the first time I have seen him smile since then."
On the other side of the hospital is 16 year old Tiffany Hutton. She broke her neck in a car wreck and has been in the hospital about a week.
Tiffany says the "Three Ring Circus" made her day.
"I thought it was cute. I liked it a lot. It definitely, definitely put a smile on my face."
The circus has shows at the Forum through Sunday.
