Aman is recovering in a Sarasota hospital Tuesday morning, following a stabbingat a New Year's Eve street party.
Officerswere called to the 1500 block of State Street shortly before midnight overreports of a fight in progress; as thousands had gathered for the pineappledrop, police said.
Thevictim, Joshua Wren, 28, was transported to an area hospital where he is beingtreated for his injuries.
Policearrested and charged James Cooper, 44 in connection with the stabbing.
