Crews work to fix sinkhole following South Tampa wreck
Interbay was closed Monday between 6th Street and Sheridan Road after a car struck a fire hydrant; causing a sinkhole to form.
Tampa Water department staff is working to fix the hydrant and repair the sinkhole, officials said.
Both directions of Interbay Blvd are closed between South 6th Street and South Sheridan Road.
Officials said it would be Wednesday before crews will be able to complete all necessary repairs.
