The driver of a motorcycle, who ran a red light, is in the hospital recovering this morning after the motorcycle she was driving crashed into another vehicle, according to deputies.
The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Park Street and 84th Lane, deputies said.
Witnesses told Investigators Ana Clarke, 20, was traveling north on Park Street and ran the red light, crashing into a Nissan passenger car driven by Ernesto Torna, 22.
The driver of the motorcycle is currently in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center. The driver of the Nissan was not injured.
Deputies say charges are pending.
