Robert Reynolds, arrested for burglary at Walgreens in Lutz
Hillsborough deputies say they've arrested a man, caught on camera, breaking into a Walgreens store in Lutz on December 24. Robert J. Reynolds now faces charges of Burglary of an unoccupied structure and petit theft.
Deputies received a tip that led to Reynolds, after releasing surveillance video that showed a man smashing through the front door of the Walgreens at 3890 Van Dyke Road, at 1:29 a.m. The burglar snatched up one case of Budweiser beer, two cases of Bud Light beer and two cartons of Marlboro Special Blend cigarettes.
Investigators believe the same person returned two hours later, this time, smashing a window in the pharmacy. An alarm sounded, and the store's lights turned on, as the burglar tried to remove pain medication. He ran away.
