People check in for their flights at Tampa International Airport.Wicked weather in other parts of the country caused delays and cancellations at Tampa International Airport. Flights to Dallas, Chicago, and Washington DC were pushed back. Flights into Indianapolis were canceled.
Gayle Turberville spent the morning crossing her fingers her flight wouldn't get canceled.
"My flight is delayed to Dallas-Fort Worth," Turberville said. "There's snow and ice in Dallas can you believe it?" asked Turberville.
Claudia Cappio was flying back to California. She uses a strategy for booking over the holidays.
"In the Winter I fly the southern routes," Cappio said. "I learned my lesson when I was stuck because Midway in Chicago was closed for two days."
