Dogs attack Bradenton teen and man who came to the rescue

A 13-year old boy was hospitalized Monday with severe injuries after being attacked by dogs.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened around 4 P.M. on Morning Glory Way.

Two Australian Shepherds attacked the boy while riding on his bike. Deputies said Roy Levin, 67, witnessed the attack came to the teens rescue. That man also sustained injuries from being attacked by the dogs.

The unidentified teen was taken to the hospital for treatment. The two dogs are currently in the custody of Animal Services.
