Hillsborough school officials say that a middle school student reported finding bullets on a school bus. The discovery marks the second straight day of students finding ammunition on county school buses.
An 8th grade student at Greco Middle School found two bullets on the floor and handed them to the bus driver, police said.
Police questioned the students and searched their backpacks. No weapons or additional ammunition was discovered.
The same bus served Freedom High School earlier this morning. Officials are questioning those students and searching their bags, as well. Freedom High School is in lock down.
On Monday, a bullet was found on the floor of a school bus that serves Turner Elementary, Liberty Middle and Wharton High School.
