Largo police believe security cameras inside a Publix captured some clear images of a man who later robbed the BB&T Bank at 14141 Walsingham Road.   The robbery took place just after 9 a.m., on Friday, December 14.  Investigators say, shortly before the heist, the robber was loitering around the Publix at 12022 Indian Rocks Road.

Police say the robber is a black man, between 25 to 30 years old, thin, and about 5'9" tall. He was wearing dark pants and a dark jacket with white writing on the back.  He did not display a weapon during the robbery, and he left the bank on foot.

Investigators hope that the clear images from surveillance video will lead to a speedy arrest.  Any person with information related to the identity of the suspect is asked to call Detective Berard of the Largo Police Department's Investigative Services Division at (727)587-6730.
