Hillsborough school officials say that no weapons or additional ammunition have been found at Liberty Middle and Wharton High Schools. The schools went into modified lockdown this morning, after a bullet was found on the floor of a school bus that serves those schools. Students are still being questioned at Turner Elementary -- the third school served by that bus.
Hillsborough deputies and Tampa police are assisting in the investigation.
School officials say the entire county is operating under modified lockdown procedures, in response to last Friday's deadly school shooting in Connecticut. officials say they have received no threats against any school in the district.
