The defense needs Edwards to replace the production of Timmy Jernigan.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Seven teenagers accused of entering an unlocked door at the home of former Miami Heat player Ray Allen have been charged with trespassing. Police say they were attending a party next door when they entered the Coral Gables home last week. Allen's wife and children were sleeping upstairs.

MIAMI (AP) - The Texas Rangers roughed up Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi early on the way to a 5-4 win over the Marlins yesterday afternoon. Nick Martinez allowed two runs over six innings in his homecoming, and Alex Rios drove in two runs. Leonys Martin had three hits for Texas, which grabbed a 5-0 lead after two innings.
