"Howl-O-Scare" to terrify Tampa this Halloween season

Mary McGuire - TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - Buried deep beneath the grounds of Tampa's Busch Gardens, creatures and demons are slowly waking up from their graves, just in time to scare you this Halloween season.

The park's 2015 "Howl-O-Scare" haunted house concept, "Unearthed: Scarlett's Revenge", is the brain child of Robin Cowie, one of the producers of the classic horror film, The Blair Witch Project.

"They can expect to be horrified! They can expect to be terrified! They can expect the unexpected," said Cowie.

Cowie chose to focus this year's concept on Scarlett, a vengeful demon who collects the eyes of all who enter her domain.

"Find someone's hand to hold onto because you are in for a ride!" exclaimed Cowie.

Howl-O-Scream runs 19 select nights from September 25 through Halloween.
