DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - The Miami Dolphins got off to a somewhat sloppy start in training camp. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill dropped at least three snaps during the first practice today. The first time he threw long, he misfired deep to Mike Wallace, but they later connected on a 40-yard throw. Tannehill predicted mistakes will be cleaned up quickly.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Former Florida State and NFL linebacker Deon Humphrey has been arrested in an assault on his girlfriend. The 38-year-old was taken into custody yesterday and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. Humphrey is free on $5,000 bond. His public defender said she couldn't comment.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts III left the team's first training camp practice with a tight hamstring. Coach Gus Bradley says trainers pulled Shorts for precautionary reasons late in today's two-hour workout. Shorts, hasn't made it through a full season in three years.
