MIAMI (AP) - An associate of former U.S. Congressman David Rivera has pleaded not guilty to four campaign finance violations involving alleged illegal contributions to a political candidate. An indictment charges that the former associate, Ana Alliegro, illegally funneled more than $80,000 to a candidate's primary campaign in 2012.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has downsized estimates of the 2013-14 Florida orange crop by one percent from a February estimate to 114 million boxes. The department said Monday that it was adjusting the figure on oranges based on deliveries to processors and packinghouses as of early March.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Defensive end Jason Babin of the Jacksonville Jaguars has become a free agent. Babin was due to make $6 million in 2014, more than the team was willing to pay for the 33-year-old pass-rusher who's no longer in his prime.
