TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The Pinellas County school district wants former Gov. Charlie Crist to pull a television ad filmed at an area high school. A school administrator allowed the Democratic candidate to film the ad at St. Petersburg High. But district officials said that was an "error in judgment" that violated school board policy.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - A judge is ordering that a primary election for a Tampa Bay legislative seat be pushed back until November. Circuit Judge Angela Dempsey ruled the election for Florida House District 64 should be open to all voters regardless of party affiliation.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A jury has found a Florida man guilty of killing a 3-month-old boy by tossing the infant out of a moving vehicle. Richard McTear was found guilty yesterday. Prosecutors say the 26-year-old attacked ex-girlfriend Jasmine Bedwell and then took off with her son, Emanuel Wesley Murray. He threw the baby out of a car window on Interstate 275 in Tampa.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Police say a 12-year-old Florida boy is under arrest and accused of fatally shooting a homeless man in the head. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Assistant Chief Chris Butler said the boy was arrested in the killing of 54-year old Thomas Trent.
